One of the most disturbing efforts in current American politics is the attempt by some to rewrite American history in a way that glorifies white Christian nationalism and erases other people and uncomfortable truths from our past. How might we reclaim the history of America in a way that honors the whole story from the First Peoples through the European colonization that brought most of our ancestors to this country?
